The key difference between Evolution’s Caribbean Stud Poker and other standard poker games, is that there’s no bluffing involved, as you’re playing directly against the house.

To play this five-card stud poker game, you need to place an ante bet, which is a mandatory bet, before the cards are dealt. You are then dealt five cards on the poker table, as is the dealer. One of the dealer’s cards is face up on the table, while the other four remain face down.

To win, you will need to hold a better poker hand than the dealer, and you can decide to call or fold depending on the hand that you’ve been dealt. The winning combinations (in order of poker hand ranking) in Caribbean Stud are as follows:

• Royal flush – 100 to 1
• Straight flush – 50 to 1
• Four of a kind – 25 to 1
• Full house – 10 to 1
• Flush – 7 to 1
• Straight – 5 to 1
• Three of a kind – 3 to 1
• Two pairs – 2 to 1
• One pair – 1 to 1

The dealer qualifies with an ace/king or higher, and following your decision to call, the dealer will reveal their entire hand. If you have a better hand than the dealer, you will win the hand.
